When stress feels overwhelming, I have a few ways to bring myself back to a calmer place. Simple things-like taking deep breaths, pausing, and shifting my focus to what I can control, make a big difference. It’s not about ignoring my feelings, but rather creating space to step back, reset, and appreciate the life I’ve built-a blessing in itself.

Listen to the Ocean Waves

There’s nothing more relaxing to me than the sound of crashing waves. Sitting still, listening, and allowing my mind to declutter is the best kind of meditation. It’s not always easy to quiet the racing thoughts, but learning to slow down and be present has been incredibly helpful.
